Time is running out for clean air

2nd August 2022

Matt Oliver from Hark Films approached us earlier this year to ask if he could make a short film about air pollution for us. We said yes please! Huge thanks to him and the brilliant Sophie Cartman for their time on this. You can find it on YouTube here.

Air pollution is the number one environmental risk to our health in the UK. We urgently need to reduce pollution.

Can you help us to get more action on air pollution, and reduce your own contribution to it? Here are some ideas:

πŸ’š Drive less - can you walk/wheel/scoot/cycle local trips instead of drive them?
πŸ’š Only burn wood on special occasions, or not at all.
πŸ’š Talk to people about this. Can you have a conversation with three friends this week about air pollution?
πŸ’š Walk quieter routes, and stand back from the kerb and at crossings (reduces your exposure to air pollution).
πŸ’š Write to your councillors, relevant cabinet members of your council, the leader of your council and your MP, asking for more action on air pollution.

Time is running out. Join us to campaign - just get in touch to find out how you can help.
