Turning concerns into action

Are you worried about the smell of the air when you walk your child to school? Or concerned every time you smell woodsmoke on your road? Have you heard about School Streets and want to know how to get one at your child’s school?

These are just some of the things people talk about when they first get in touch with us. People often feel helpless about air pollution and don’t know what to do. If this is you, then you’re in the right place!

Small things can make a difference - we’re all time poor but if you have five minutes to spare, you could start by putting a poster up on a community noticeboard, or by leaving a few flyers in your local cafe. You can order them for free here.

You’re very welcome to join one of our friendly virtual monthly meetings, or send us a message if you need advice, and our Volunteer Co-ordinator Sharon can give you a quick call.

Everyone is welcome; we began as mums on maternity leave but have grown to become a network for everyone - we have volunteers all over the country, and you don’t have to be a parent to get involved. You can give as much or as little time as you have - we’re busy people living our lives and campaigning on the side!
