Send our new Prime Minister a postcard

We’ve just launched a real-life, snail-mail postcard campaign to our new Prime Minister, Andy Burnham, because breathing dirty air is harming our health every day — and he has the power to change that.

Air pollution is linked to the equivalent of 30,000 deaths across the UK every year, is the second leading risk factor for death in children under five, and is making asthma worse for the 1 in 11 children living with the condition.

This is a fresh start, and as Andy Burnham settles into office, we want to send him a strong message: it’s time to deliver a Clean Air Act that protects everyone’s health. The more postcards he receives, the harder it will be to ignore the message.
